The National Weather Service in Des Moines has issued a 

* Tornado Warning for... 
northwestern Appanoose County in south central Iowa... 
southeastern Lucas County in south central Iowa... 
southwestern Monroe County in south central Iowa... 
northeastern Wayne County in south central Iowa... 

* until 700 PM CDT 

* at 631 PM CDT...National Weather Service Doppler radar indicated a 
severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado. This dangerous 
storm was located 12 miles southeast of Chariton...or 18 miles 
northwest of Centerville...and moving east at 15 mph.
