...A Tornado Warning remains in effect until 530 PM EDT for west
central Mainland Dare...northeastern Mainland Hyde and southeastern
Tyrrell counties...

At 500 PM EDT...National Weather Service Doppler radar continued to
indicate a possible tornado. This tornado was located 9 miles east
of Kilkenny...or 9 miles northwest of Engelhard...moving east at 10
mph.

The tornado will otherwise remain over mainly rural areas of the
indicated counties.

When it is safe to do so...please call in your reports of penny or
larger sized hail...as well as wind damage...including trees or large
limbs downed by calling the National Weather Service toll free at...
