 Watches/warnings in effect for Quebec... Severe Thunderstorm Warning for: =new= Laval area =new= Saint-Jerome area =new= Saint-eustache area. Thunderstorms near mirabel are tracking toward Laval at 30 km/h. These thunderstorms will produce mostly heavy rain - and intense lightning, but gusts of 90 km/h or more and small hail are possible. People in these regions should take the necessary precautions and listen for subsequent weather warnings. This warning is in effect from 05:15 PM to 07:14 PM EDT. Severe Thunderstorm Watch for: Metro Montreal - Laval Vaudreuil - Soulanges - Huntingdon Richelieu valley - Saint-Hyacinthe Lanaudiere Lachute - Saint-Jerome laurentians Upper Gatineau - Lievre - Papineau Pontiac. Weather conditions for these regions are favourable for the development of severe thunderstorms. Some of these storms could produce large hail - damaging winds - heavy rain and intense lightning.
