Watches/warnings in effect for Quebec... Severe Thunderstorm Warning for: =new= Laval area =new= Saint-Jerome area =new= Saint-eustache area. Thunderstorms near mirabel are tracking toward Laval at 30 km/h. These thunderstorms will produce mostly heavy rain - and intense lightning, but gusts of 90 km/h or more and small hail are possible. People in these regions should take the necessary precautions and listen for subsequent weather warnings. This warning is in effect from 05:15 PM to 07:14 PM EDT. Severe Thunderstorm Watch for: Metro Montreal - Laval Vaudreuil - Soulanges - Huntingdon Richelieu valley - Saint-Hyacinthe Lanaudiere Lachute - Saint-Jerome laurentians Upper Gatineau - Lievre - Papineau Pontiac. Weather conditions for these regions are favourable for the development of severe thunderstorms. Some of these storms could produce large hail - damaging winds - heavy rain and intense lightning. Persons in these regions should be on the lookout for these weather conditions and listen for subsequent watches and particularly warnings which will be issued if severe weather threatens. This watch is in effect from 2:10 PM to 7:00 PM
