The National Weather Service in Birmingham has issued a

* Tornado Warning for...
western Bullock County in southeast Alabama...
north central Pike County in southeast Alabama...

* until 1245 PM CDT

* at 1218 PM CDT...the National Weather Service indicated a severe
thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado. This dangerous storm
was located 5 miles northwest of Linwood...or 11 miles north of
Troy...and moving north at 40 mph.

* Locations impacted include...
Union Springs...Beans Crossroads...Shopton...Franklin Field...China
