Stanly County in central North Carolina

* until 845 PM EDT

* at 745 PM EDT...National Weather Service Doppler radar indicated a
tornado 16 miles southwest of Stanfield...or over Monroe...moving
northeast at 25 mph. Damaging straight line winds in excess of 58
mph are also likely with this storm.
