The National Weather Service in Jackson has issued a

* Tornado Warning for...
northeastern Simpson County in central Mississippi...
southwestern Smith County in central Mississippi...
extreme north central Covington County in southeast Mississippi...

* until 1015 am CDT

* at 929 am CDT...National Weather Service meteorologists detected a
severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado 19 miles
southeast of White Oak moving north at 30 mph. Several funnels
have been reported with similar storms.

* Other locations in the warning include but are not limited to Mize.
