northwestern Harvey County in south central Kansas... 
southeastern McPherson County in central Kansas... 
northeastern Reno County in south central Kansas... 

* until 730 PM CST 

* at 652 PM CST...National Weather Service meteorologists were 
tracking a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado. This 
dangerous storm was located 6 miles west of Burrton...or 7 miles 
east of Hutchinson...and moving northeast at 65 mph.
