Details

An approaching low pressure system which gave large hail in portions of Southwestern Saskatchewan today will tap into a very hot and humid airmass as it tracks northeastward tonight. Upper level winds combined with very unstable air will give the potential for tornadoes within portions of the tornado watch area. Severe thunderstorms are also possible further east, up to the Manitoba border. The tornado threat for Prince Albert, Melfort, and Nipawin has diminished with the main threat now being further south.
