A hot and humid airmass along with a trough of low pressure will combine to produce thunderstorms today. Some of these thunderstorms may become severe with large hail, heavy downpours and strong gusty winds.

At 11:20 AM radar indicated a potentially severe thunderstorm south of Pilot Mound moving east at 60 km/h towards Morden. This storm has the potential to produce Nickel to quarter size hail and wind gusts to 90 km/h. This is a warning that severe thunderstorms are imminent or occurring in these regions.
