Storms may approach Lake county by late morning

A band of storms will move east at 30 to 35 mph across the eastern Gulf of Mexico early this morning. These storms are projected to approach Lake county by late morning.

Gradually strengthening low pressure in the Gulf of Mexico will bring a chance of severe weather today, including isolated tornadoes. People across central Florida should keep informed about the latest weather developments.
