NWS Omaha/Valley, NE

Graphical depiction of the weather story for today.
A moderate risk of severe weather will exist for very late this afternoon and especially tonight. Very large hail, damaging winds, isolated tornadoes, and very heavy rainfall can be expected as a frontal boundary moves into the region. Until the severe weather threat arrives later today, isolated thunderstorms will be possible this morning. Then there should be a several hour break, with windy conditions and warm and muggy conditions. Dry weather is expected Sunday, but another weather system could bring strong storms Monday through Monday night. Tuesday and Wednesday look dry, but more storms could be back in the forecast for the end of the work week.
