severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado. This dangerous
storm was located near Sandbridge Beach...or 8 miles east of

Western branch and Churchland around 915 am EDT.

Other locations impacted by this dangerous storm include Macons
Corner... Oceana... London Bridge... Princess Anne Plaza... Gallups
corner... Greenbrier and Portlock.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Take cover now. Move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
sturdy building. Avoid windows. If in a Mobile home... a vehicle... or
outdoors... move to the closest substantial shelter and protect
yourself from flying debris.

Chesapeake County until 900 am EDT...

At 841 am EDT... National Weather Service Doppler radar indicated a
severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado. This dangerous
storm was located near Chesapeake Airport... or 6 miles south of Deep
Creek... moving west at 50 mph.

This dangerous storm will affect mainly rural areas of west Central
City of Chesapeake County.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Take cover now. Move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
