...The Tornado Warning for east central Beaufort and northeastern
Pamlico counties is cancelled...

The storm which prompted the warning has weakened and the warning is
no longer in effect.

If you observed severe weather including damaging winds or large
hail...please contact the National Weather Service by calling toll
free 1...8 0 0...8 8 9...6 8 8 9...or notify your nearest law
enforcement agency and ask them to relay your report to the National
Weather Service forecast office in Newport.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 500 am EDT Saturday morning
for eastern North Carolina.
