Thunderstorms are possible late this evening into the overnight hours mainly west of Kansas Highway 99. If the storms make it into the area...hail near the size of quarters and strong wind gusts will be possible as they pass. The chance for more widespread severe weather increases later in the day Sunday across eastern Kansas. There is a moderate threat for hail greater than 2 inches and damaging wind gusts. A few tornadoes may be possible in the later afternoon and evening hours. Another round of severe weather will be possible again on Monday. Mainly across east central Kansas as well as most of southeast Kansas.
