Scattered thunderstorms for the Prairies

Scattered showers and thunderstorms are likely through southern Manitoba on Monday as a departing cold front pushes through.

"Thunderstorms in central and southern Saskatchewan and along the foothills of Alberta are also expected this afternoon with an upper level trough," adds Sonnenburg. "The risk for thunderstorms will continue in southern Alberta on Tuesday, including in the city of Calgary."
